Race High Capacity, High Efficiency Radiators
On production Road bikes manufacturers fitted their 2-strokes bikes with radiators that keep their bikes (in standard form) from overheating. The thermostat helps the engine warm up to it’s operating temperature, and should hold it there at road speeds.
However on some bikes even in standard tune the manufacturer’s radiator cannot hold the temperature as cool as the thermostat temperature, this results in a loss in performance.
On increased output engines, holding the thermostat temperature is imperative for maintaining best power and keeping reliability, but with the added heat produced by the engine the std radiator struggles on all but the coldest days.
These radiators are a direct fit for the std radiator and are roughly twice the depth of the standard radiator, although they do not retain the stone guard.
